Solarcaine? The cream form. It contains real cocain you know [img]smile.gif[/img] It's supposed to be for scratches & stuff, but I find it works for nasty itching too.

I am SO glad you guts are feeling better. I know how horrid stomach etc. things can be, especially since they interrupt one of life's great pleasures. EATING!

I had a extended persistent bout of Helicobacter pylorii a few years ago which i wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. It has meant that even now my tummy can be quite sensitive. LOSEC is great tho'. Funnily enough the new CEO of my company and still microbiology's head pathologist is the Dr. who has done some of the most important research on Helicobacter pylorii.

Update: I went to a guts specialist & he says it's most likely Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Caused by an infection or parasite that went away, but left the intestines upset & rather angry. For a year isn't uncommon!
Still he's going to have a little look-see in there to make sure there isn't colitis-like damage, which would require different treatment.
Hooray! An explaination!
Now I'm back to an earlier phase of my problem, where I'm sore & tired all the time. But at least I'm not incapacitated by pain!! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I can't even pronounce what Chaos had.

I'm obviously getting here way too late to say congrats, but I'm happy you aren't in pain anyhow. Hope things get better.
